Join The Aleventure & Hunt For A Hen This Easter!

Old Speckled Hen is celebrating Easter this year by bringing its much-loved ale to Birmingham in a characteristically cunning style, that’s set to test the grey matter and get those bushy tails wagging.

Bottle with promotional neck labelOne of the UK’s favourite ale brands will be burying its Hunt for a Hen Travelling Bar in a secret location in Birmingham on Saturday 21 March from 12 to 3pm, and rewarding those who find it with a free glass of its smooth, full flavoured ale, in return for a social post..

The social media hunt is taking place in four secret locations across the UK throughout March and the Easter weekend with clues appearing for  Birmingham ‘aleficionados’ online from today.

Anyone who’s up for the ‘aleventure’ should simply follow @SpeckledHenry on Twitter and keep a beady eye out for his clues posted alongside the #huntforahen hashtag. It’s then a case of cracking the clues and heading to the secret location to reap the rewards!

Free ale won’t be all that’s on offer; intrepid explorers can add to their trophy cabinets with prizes on offer including the chance to win beer for a year and £1,000 in cash, as well as thousands of other exciting prizes, so there’s a real chance for ale fans to make the Easter weekend one to remember.
