Katie O’Brien’s Irish Tavern is bringing the holiday spirit to seniors across the community with a heart-warming Over-70s Christmas Event on Wednesday 10th December. Following the success of last year’s gathering in Newcastle, which welcomed more than 200 attendees, the tradition is expanding nationwide across all 10 Katie O’Brien’s venues.
This year, the beloved Irish pub chain is preparing to host over 1,600 local seniors for an afternoon filled with festive fun. Guests can expect a warm Irish welcome along with free drinks, live music, and tasty bites, including a sausage roll and, of course, a perfectly poured pint of Guinness.
“We’re thrilled to open our doors once again to the older members of our community,” said the team at Katie O’Brien’s. “Christmas is all about connection, joy, and belonging, and we can’t wait to celebrate with a good sing-along and plenty of holiday cheer.”
Locals are encouraged to spread the word to parents, grandparents, neighbours, and friends who might enjoy an afternoon of company and Christmas spirit.
Katie O’Brien’s Irish Tavern have venues in 10 cities: Birmingham, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Lincoln, Durham, Newcastle, Harrogate, Leeds and York. Tickets can be purchased for all venues via Design My Night.
