Kitty Clap Klub at Flatpack Festival Saturday

Kitty Clap Klubis a bold new short film screening as part of Flatpack Film Festival this May.

Set around a chaotic strip club in Stoke during the 2010s on Halloween night, the film follows Maisie as her day spirals into drama, confrontation and unexpected revenge. Blending dark humour with sharp, character-driven storytelling, it’s a messy, high-energy glimpse into a world where nothing goes to plan.

Directed by Jack Richardson of Run Home Productions, it was created by writer/actor Natasha Killip, who also produced alongside Lee Nabbs, Poppy Abbott and Aresa Foster. The film features Natasha and Poppy (Maisie) alongside local comedians Rachel Baker, Kelly Griffiths and more, bringing to life the behind-the-scenes world of a chaotic strip club on Halloween night.

For fans of Fleabag, Showgirls and Phoenix Nights.

“Kitty Clap Klub was born from wanting to tell messy, funny, working-class stories that feel real, the kind of characters and nights out you don’t often see on screen. It’s chaotic, emotional and unapologetic.”
Writer, Actor, Producer, Natasha Killip

“There’s something really exciting about projects like this coming out of the Midlands right now. Kitty Clap Klub has its own voice, it’s bold, raw, funny and completely unfiltered. We wanted to create something that feels authentic while still being wild and entertaining.”
Exec Producer, Lee Nabbs

The film will be shown at Mockingbird Cinema on Saturday, 9th May, followed by a live Q&A with the filmmakers.
