The latest award comes as the South London native chalks up 17 years in business this year. Luci, is married to UB40 vocalist and guitarist Robin Campbell.
After leaving school Luci worked in theatre looking after actors including Emma Thompson, Michael Gambon and Michael Crawford, before touring across the globe with bands including Iron Maiden, The Monkees, Squeeze, The Kinks, and UB40.
After meeting Robin, Luci left the music industry, moved to Birmingham, and went on to launch a cupcake business which evolved to take in the Asian wedding cake arm of the successful company.
Luci was introduced to the Asian wedding industry by a leading chef and trained to meet the needs of the market, now producing a wide range of high quality sponge cakes, with her business specialising in eggless creations.

Describing one of the most rewaring parts of the job, Luci said: “My favourite part of the week is the set up day. The camaraderie of the suppliers and the joyful moment when the cake is in the centre of the dance floor, fully lit with a magnificent stage, screen and sound, is the culmination of all our efforts and one proud moment.”
