Midlands Arts Centre and MAC Makes Music are delighted to announce that there will be a special SWITCH Sunset gig in the Outdoor Arena at MAC on Friday 29 June.
SWITCH is MAC’s band-in-residence, made up of a group of young musicians who work alongside professional music leaders to write songs, play instruments, sing and learn about the many aspects of music production. They have an increasing repertoire of original songs and enjoy regular performances at MAC and beyond.
If you’re looking for a lively evening for the family, with great music to get you in the mood for the weekend, why not come along? In this celebratory, family-friendly gig, SWITCH will be playing some of their latest songs, showing off the music-making skills they’ve learnt during their time in the band and generally having a fun-filled evening! They’ll be supported by The Warriors, an inclusive band from Westminster School in Sandwell.
