Moseley Folk & Arts have announced the full line-up for their forthcoming All-Dayer. Joining headliners Midlake on Sunday 1 February 2026 at The Crossing, Birmingham, are Jane Weaver, The Leisure Society, The Brethren and Ollie Cook & The Hogwash.
The event precedes Moseley Folk & Arts Festival’s 20th Anniversary edition – which is scheduled for the summer (with full line-up announcements coming soon).
For over two decades, Midlake have quietly built a world of their own – rooted in the college-town charm of Denton, Texas, USA, but expansive in sound and spirit. With their recently released sixth studio album, A Bridge To Far, the band returns with a record that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant, and is filled with warmth and nuance.
A firm Moseley Folk favourite, Midlake most recently visited the Birmingham festival in 2022.
Jane Weaver’s illustrious career has produced an expansive library of music that has seen her journey from solo folkloric and pop leaning beginnings through to the psychedelic synth-pop explorations of today. 2026 sees record label Fire begin a new reissue series of her work with a 15th anniversary expanded edition of The Fallen By Watch Bird (out 23 January 2026).
Founded by Burton-on-Trent resident Nick Hemming, The Leisure Society have consistently received high praise for their outstanding songwriting and production craft. Winning two Ivor Novello nominations and Rough Trade Albums of the Year, they’ve also worked with artists as diverse as The Kinks’ Ray Davies and Brian Eno, while filmmaker Shane Meadows is a longstanding collaborator.
A powerhouse collective who blend rock, soul and cinematic storytelling, The Brethren have spent more than a decade touring globally. Perhaps best known as Elle King’s backing band, individual members have also played with such artists Rufus Wainwright, Nick Cave, Sky Ferreira, The Veronicas and Midlake.
Completing the Moseley Folk All-Dayer line-up are quintet Ollie Cook & The Hogwash. Playing what they describe as ‘Brumicana Dad Rock’ their recent single for the Hand In Hive label, Home Video, was named a Rolling Stone Hot New Song.

ABOUT MOSELEY FOLK & ARTS FESTIVAL
Moseley Folk and Arts Festival is an annual family-friendly immersive event, exploring the very best of contemporary Folk, Arts and Crafts, and more, which is held in Moseley Park – a stunning 11-acre woodland glade in the heart of Moseley Village.
Although the site is just two miles from the centre of Birmingham, it’s a world away from city life, and the perfect setting for a festival – with sloping grounds, creating a natural amphitheatre in front of a stunning lake.
Established in 2006, each year Moseley Folk and Arts Festival brings incredible artists, workshops, arts, crafts, and a selection of Birmingham’s most loved street food and drinks vendors to Moseley, for one epic weekend.
Previous headliners have included Father John Misty, Dexys, Belle and Sebastian, Wilco, Laura Marling, Don Mclean, The Waterboys, The Monkees, The Jayhawks, Richard Thompson and Supergrass.
2026 sees the festival mark its 20th anniversary with a run of stand-alone concerts alongside the September festival.
