Over two thousand fans of electronic music and wellness culture are expected to attend the first chapter of the Midlands’ newest festival on Sunday 30 August 2026.
Off Grid: Chapter One, a three-stage one-day event, takes place across a sprawling NPF Adventure Park woodland site outside the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield.
The collaboration between well-known Birmingham nightlife brands and venues DnB Collective, Lab 11 and Rock n Rolla will present an 11-hour programme of music, food, and drink, as well as a special on-site focus on wellbeing and wellness.
Featuring a line-up that includes crossover dance music icon Example, Birmingham native house star Hannah Wants, Ibiza favourite Sam Divine, and US garage producer Todd Edwards, Off Grid is the first festival of its type in the region.
The festival team have collaborated with curated wellness retailer The Healthy Shop to create a dedicated on-site wellness space to promote balance and resets for ravers and revellers.
Jack Young, co-producer of Off Grid, said: “In less than a week’s time, our beautifully wild woodland site – less than half an hour from Birmingham and minutes from Sutton Coldfield – will play host to some of the biggest names in UK bassline, house, and garage.
“We’re expecting over 2,000 electronic music and wellness fans to celebrate the end of summer in a slightly different way – stepping away from the distraction of notifications and posts to really be immersed in sounds and social experiences.
“Festivals ask a lot of your body; we wanted to change that from year one. Off Grid is about being present — and our collaboration with The Healthy Shop as well as other partners means everyone will have the opportunities to stop for a moment, and reset or recharge.”
The specialist offer will include qualified massage therapists working throughout the day, red light therapy, fresh fruit, and hydration packs built to keep the dancefloor moving from first drop to last.
The zone will stock products from The Healthy Shop’s curated roster of science-backed brands — including Cymbiotika, DIRTEA, Anima Mundi, Kiki Health, Exhale Coffee and Ape Nutrition — the same names trusted by the UK’s biohacking and wellness community, now available in a field for the first time.
The wellness offer is a natural extension of Off Grid‘s founding identity and simple key message: No Signal Required, promising an alternative to endless notifications, social media fatigue, and relentless pressure to experience events through a screen.
This year’s Wellness Zone is the first installment of a plan that grows with the festival.
As Off Grid expands for Chapter Two in 2027, the ambition is a full Wellness Village — a weekend of activities where festival-goers can slow down between sets: ice baths, forest meditation, breathwork and more, deep in the woodland.
Partnering with Tickets For Good, Off Grid has connected with those who work in the NHS, education and the charity sector with live events across the UK, offering free and discounted tickets.
Other partners in the major event, which has been over a year in the planning, include Tribes of Beorma and independent street food traders from across the region, with over 100 jobs being supported as part of production for the Sutton Coldfield event.
Around 20 independent businesses from across the West Midlands – including DMX Productions, Ninety Five Studios CIC, and Pulsar Medical – are supporting the production, which is expected to grow in future years.
