The Old Crown in Digbeth has a pretty impressive beer garden out back. It’s had several revamps in recent years, but the latest make-over is going to be something a little bit special!
A completely new beer garden has been designed by the team at Stax Creations (the same guys behind the fabulous Night Owl) and is in the process of construction. The official launch take place on 24th June with drinks offers all night!
Stax Creations are a young creative team who transform spaces in a unique cool way. Creations consist of full venue fit outs to bespoke installations for events and festivals. Including brand activations, creative stages, performers and bespoke furniture to transform spaces into an experience.
The new garden will come complete with its own outdoor bar, a special cocktail bar and even a shipping container! The pub hosts a variety of events across the year including: St Patricks Day, Outdoor Cinema Events hosted by The Travelling Cinema Company, BBQ’s and more!
Friday and Saturday nights are back featuring some of Birmingham’s best DJ’s spinning funk, soul, disco, hip-hop, R’N’B and more.

Robert Johnston (Bam Bam / Dropout Boogie / Great Outdoors)
Diners can enjoy the ample space outside and take advantage of the regular food offers including: 2-4-1 loaded hotdogs on Mondays, 2-4-1 burgers on Tuesdays, 2-4-1 Lashford’s sausages on Wednesdays and 2-4-1 on pizzas ever Sunday from 6pm.
