Oh My God! It’s The Church play Castle & Falcon 17th May

*This show is a rescheduled show. The original date was 22/11/18. All tickets from this date are valid for this new date*

The Lord works in mysterious ways. Or so the saying goes, but there is nothing mysterious about the incredible buzz which surrounds one of the most acclaimed acts around, Oh My God! It’s The Church. After a monumental 2018 which saw this all singing, all dancing, party church service traverse the globe, conducting services to a congregation of over 100,000 gleeful sinners, Oh My God! It’s The Church are now bringing their jaw-dropping show to a town near you! A party church service like no other, they will be reaching some of the UK’s most sinful cities, some of which for the very first time, and will be joined onstage by their Full Live Band – The Missionary Position – premiering their brand new original music.

Nominated as ‘Live Act of the Year’ by the AIF Festival Congress, and fresh from saving thousands of souls on festival main stages at Wilderness, Shambala and Bestival in 2018 – the Right Reverend Michael Alabama Jackson and his Hail Marys will be bringing their special brand of absolution on the road for a UK wide tour in Spring 2019.

Each venue will be transformed into a cathedral of music and chaos. The congregation can expect shotgun weddings, sinful sermons, and crazy confessions, all to the sweet sound of the Hail Marys backed by their full live funk band.

Have you been naughty? Do you need salvation? Do you believe in Sexy Jesus? Your answer will no doubt be yes, so spread the word and bring your own congregation to be baptised in the Holy Spirit – Absinthe, and all leave believers together from the Pentecostal party that leaves everyone on their knees begging for more.

Oh My God! It’s The Church: The party church service where ALL are welcome!

The Revered Jackson said:

If Sexy Jesus is your Saviour, you have gotta love your neighbour. Whether straight or gay, black or white, we all party and praise into the night. A Church for the People both lost and found, a secret Church for the Underground. A Church for the naughty a Church for the lovin’… If you don’t sin, Jesus died for nothin

“Mesmerising…a delight!” – London Evening Standard

Argle Bargle is a nine-piece pop ensemble whose music fuses catchy melodies and witty lyrics with funk guitar riffs, vibrant brass, powerful female vocals, jazz harmonies, and ska beats. The band formed in 2016 at the University of Birmingham and have since made a strong impression on the Birmingham and London music scenes. Their 2018 festival sets at Cheltenham Jazz Festival and Valefest were met with praise for their liveliness, creativity, and the way the band clearly enjoy performing together. Their lyrics describe seemingly trivial life experiences – not being able to sleep, losing a passport, experiencing turbulence whilst on an aeroplane – yet their songs manage to convey a maturity of thought beyond their years.
