A provision for students aged 19-25 with SEND & ASD needs.
For the past 8 months, students from Heart of Birmingham Vocational College have met weekly at the MAC Birmingham exploring a range of art techniques and mediums. Sessions have been structured to allow students to develop their artistic skills in whatever art-form they choose.
Students explored what art meant to them, and discussed that art is not always a finished picture on a wall. It could take the form of an idea, manifest in a means of expressing their feelings and above all gives them a voice to share their experiences with others.
The students have really enjoyed working within these supportive and inclusive workshops and they hope you enjoy the work.
