Parkinson’s UK launches Birmingham’s first Secret Supper

Charity Parkinson’s UK is inviting local people and businesses to a Secret Supper event in St Paul’s Square, Birmingham, on Tuesday 9 April to raise vital funds for people affected by Parkinson’s.

This unique, multi-dining experience is coming to the Jewellery Quarter, where guests will visit three different restaurants for three different courses, with the location of their meals being kept a surprise until the evening.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition for which there is currently no cure. It affects 145,000 people in the UK, with an estimated 12,300 people living with Parkinson’s in the West Midlands.

The money raised from the event will fund Parkinson’s UK’s pioneering research to find better treatments and a cure for the condition, as well as its vital support services. Tickets are now on sale and cost £35 per person, which includes welcome drinks at The Jam House and a three-course meal at some of the city’s most prestigious restaurants.

Gayle Kelly, Regional Fundraiser for Birmingham and the Black Country at Parkinson’s UK, said:

I’m really excited about our new event and I hope as many people as possible join us for Birmingham’s first Secret Supper and make it a night to remember.  The money raised will do so much to support those affected by the condition – and will take us a step closer to finding a cure. We expect tickets to sell out fast so make sure you buy yours now.

The drinks reception has kindly been sponsored by local businesses, FRAHA Marketing & Advertising, Sonny’s Jewellery, and Jones Davey Executive Legal Search Consultants. Jewellery Quarter based marketing agency, FRAHA, are also providing PR & Media support for the event.

The Secret Supper is a fun and exciting event which will showcase some of the best eateries in Birmingham – in a beautiful spot, too! We think the Secret Supper guests will really enjoy this unique dining experience. The team at FRAHA are delighted and proud to be lending our support to such a great cause that affects so many families. – Managing Director at FRAHA Marketing & Advertising.
