A wild collision of sleaze pop swagger, hazy hip hop shoegaze and 00s soaked nostalgia hits The Victoria on Thursday, 28th May, as PleasureInc. headline, joined by special guests King Sleep and The Perfect Match.
Formed in 2021 by Norwich brothers Jonny Silver and Kenny Pleasures, PleasureInc. have built their identity on being impossible to categorise. Their sound sits somewhere between British indie sleaze and American hip hop, splintered with punk, funk and dance influences, all delivered with the unruly spirit of skate culture and 90s wrestling. Imagine Beastie Boys chaos, Gorillaz style world building and the playful bite of Tyler, The Creator.
With Babyface Killa and Chilli Dawg completing the lineup, the band have become a four piece force of nature, selling out shows across the UK and Europe. Festival appearances at Left of the Dial, The Great Escape and Down the Rabbit Hole, plus a full UK/EU tour with Friday Pilots Club, have cemented their reputation as one of the most unpredictable and exciting new acts on the circuit.
From the mind of Vincent Gould comes King Sleep, a project that floats between chillout ambience, shoegaze haze and urgent hip hop, stitched together with soulful vocals and introspective lyricism. With Saran Hundal’s psychedelic guitar work in the mix, King Sleep create a sound that feels both meditative and immediate. Their music is for the dreamers, the thinkers and the late night wanderers.
Blending 00s nostalgia pop with the emotional DNA of early emo, The Perfect Match are a four piece who’ve been playing together in various forms since they were 12. Now fully formed, fittingly, as The Perfect Match, they released their debut single Only You in March 2026, with a second release and a short UK tour on the horizon. Expect big choruses, big feelings and a generous dose of youthful sincerity.
A Thursday night stacked with sleaze pop anarchy, genre melting hip hop shoegaze and glowing emo pop nostalgia, perfect for anyone who wants their live music loud, playful and gloriously hard to define.
