Birmingham cocktail lovers have a new reason to raise a glass, as San Carlo Birmingham celebrates Negroni Week with three seriously tempting takes on one of Italy’s most iconic cocktails.
Running from now until the 30th September, the Temple Street restaurant is inviting guests to discover its Negroni Week collection – with three different serves created for different tastes, from traditional and bittersweet to bright, sparkling and fruity.
The question is simple: which Negroni are you ordering first?
For those who like to keep things classic, there’s Classico, combining Bombay Sapphire gin, Campari and Cocchi Torino Vermouth for the bold, bittersweet flavour that has made the Negroni a cocktail icon.
Fancy something a little lighter? Pompelmo puts a fresh spin on the original, combining Campari and Cocchi Torino Vermouth with Sarti Rosa and grapefruit liqueur, finished with Prosecco for a bright and sparkling serve.
And for those who prefer their cocktails with a fruity twist, there’s Fragola – bringing together Bombay Sapphire, strawberry-infused Campari, Cocchi Torino Vermouth and white cacao liqueur for a more indulgent take on the classic.
Whether it’s a pre-dinner aperitivo, a catch-up with friends or simply an excuse to make the most of cocktail hour, San Carlo’s Negroni Week menu is bringing a little taste of Italian aperitivo culture to Birmingham.
