Society, Birmingham’s independent street food and craft beer destination, is bringing the European Athletics Championships to its big screens at Colmore Square from 10th until the 16th of August.
Brummies who didn’t score tickets at the nearby Alexander Stadium needn’t fear, as Society will be showing each day of the tournament on their epic big screens, with five legendary street food traders serving up some of the city’s best flavours, plus the biggest beer collection in the city.
Society’s legendary street food traders include burger slingers Bostin Burgers; Neapolitan legends Amore Pizza, and Japanese ‘Sando’ superstars Shokupan. Alongside the food, guests can enjoy a craft beer selection with more than 40 taps to choose from, as well as seasonal spritzes such as the Sour Cherry Spritz, and an exceptional wine menu.
As well as showing the athletics, Society Birmingham also offers a packed programme of summer events, with guest DJs playing every Thursday to Saturday, quizzes taking place every other Wednesday, and regular pop-ups, such as tote bag printing workshops, Paint ‘n’ Sip evenings and more.
Society will be showing all European Athletics Championships every day at Society, on the big screens with no sound. Highlight events include:
