New kids on the block in Brum, Bundobust are keeping it fresh as we enter the heat of summer with a spicy selection of new dishes and special offers, the introduction of delivery, and some smashing summer events. Specialists in Indian street food and first-class craft beers, Bundobust is made for balmy, sun-drenched days and this summer they’re turning up the heat. Too Much Spicy? Make it Too Much Summer with Bundobust’s summer beer, a brand-new Happy Hour, fresh Lunch Express loyalty offers, the arrival of Bundobust delivery, and tasty events.

SPECIAL OFFERS

Hot days call for first-rate refreshment, enjoy a top-notch selection of drinks for less this summer at Bundobust, with the launch of their brand-new Happy Hour. From 3.30pm – 6.30pm, Sunday to Thursday, guests can enjoy offers on Bundobust’s favourite summer beers, wines, and cocktails. During Happy Hour, refreshing pints of Dhoop and Manak will be just £5 (reduced from £5.70), or get some summer sparkle with bottles of Prosecco at £18 (reduced from £29), and enjoy a bottle of crisp Viognier or a light Cinsault for £15 (reduced from £25). Cocktail lovers can cash in on 2 for £12 during Happy Hour, with drinks including Summer Spritz, Mango & Passionfruit Daiquiri, Peach Mai Tai, Coconut Midori Sour and the Chaispresso Martini. Summer also sees the launch of Bundobust’s new Lunch Express loyalty offer, bringing added value for faithful fans. Available Monday to Friday, 12pm – 4pm, the Lunch Express menu offers guests a tasty bargain with 2 dishes for £9. Get Mung Bean Chatpata, Okra Fries, Bhajis or Bundo Chaat, paired with Raghda Pethis, Tarka Dhal & Rice, Egg Bhurji or Chole Saag. A little lunchtime feast for one that can now be upgraded with discounted drinks – add on Dhoop summer wheat beer, or Manak cream ale for £5, or try a refreshing Nimbu Pani, Kachumber Cooler, or Mango Lassi for just £3.50. FOOD, DRINK & DELIVERY

From Wednesday 12th July, Birmingham residents can enjoy their Bundo fix at home, with the launch of delivery from Bundobust Birmingham. Whether dining al fresco, al desko, or looking for an at-home feast of Indian street food, Bundobust’s delivery menu offers up finest restaurant favourites, alongside a short selection of beers and soft drinks. Designed especially for delivery, the Bundobust at-home menu includes only dishes that travel well, to ensure a first-rate feast. Alongside spicy snacks and sides, the delivery menu contains many fan favourites, including Vada Pav, Chole Saag, Paneer Tikka, Bundo Chaat, and more, as well as the Bundobust Combo For 2. Available from 12pm daily, Bundobust delivery covers the city centre, JQ, Digbeth, and out to Kings Heath, Selly Oak, Bearwood, Perry Bar, Small Heath, Handsworth, and very many areas in-between. It’s not all about at-home feasting, in the restaurant Bundobust’s team of first-rate chefs are spicing things up with the launch of the Too Much Summer Combo for 2, their pick of the very best summer dishes. For £31, guests can enjoy six dishes to share, including two top-class summer specials – Pani Puri (Chowpatty Beach’s favourite crispy, hollow, fried dough balls stuffed with masala black chickpeas and potatoes together with spicy tangy water and sweet chutney) and Dahi Bhalla (soft lentil dumplings soaked in cumin yoghurt, topped with tamarind and green mint chutney) – served alongside Okra Fries, Mung Bean Chatpata, Paneer Tikka and Chole Saag. Summer also sees the return of the Faluda Float, a nostalgic and refreshing Indian dessert drink of milk, rose syrup, chia seeds, sev and ice cream. All available 10th July – 2nd September.

Guests can also cool off with their newest craft beer, Dhoop, a refreshing and vibrant wheat beer brewed especially for sunny days. Expect a big, bold banana character backed up with fruity, fresh Huell Melon hops. Brewed in Bundo’s Manchester brewery, and available exclusively at their restaurants, Dhoop is packed with juicy banana, clove, and melon flavours. This hazy, refreshing wheat beer is a little slice of sunshine. Available now – early September.

EVENTS

Fancy a taste of Bundobust al fresco? Head down to Colmore Food Festival on 21st & 22nd July in the grounds of St Philip’s Cathedral. Bundobust’s chefs will be serving up a spicy menu of restaurant favourites, including Bundo Chaat, Bhajis and Chole Saag, surrounded by more of Brum’s finest, including Loki, Purnell’s, Orelle, North, Purecraft, and more. The event is free to attend, no booking necessary, just swing by – come hungry!

Exploring the city during Birmingham Restaurant Festival? From 28th July to 27th August guests can get their hands on Bundobust’s special festival combo. Just £33 for 2 people, the limited-edition combo includes restaurant favourites and a special homage to the Birmingham balti – feast on Bundo Chaat, Gobi Manchurian, Cobis Nu Shack, Veg Balti, Okra Fries, and Chole Saag.
