The highly anticipated wait is nearly over, The Royal is returning to Sutton Coldfield’s pub scene.
Although the venue was named The Townhouse for the last six years, the pub has always been called The Royal by locals and the owner has decided to return the venue to its original name, as they gear up to open the doors once again later this month.
Located right in the centre of Sutton Coldfield, the pub has long been a local favourite, and it’s set to bring back its unbeatable atmosphere – serving up great British pub classic food, live music, proper pints, and a brand-new interactive darts area, named High Flyers.
The doors to The Royal will be back open very soon, with an incredible opening weekend tasting event, giving customers the chance to get an early look around the refreshed venue. Be among the first to taste the new menu, enjoy a signature cocktail or two, and have a go at hitting the bullseye at the new darts experience!
Proprietor and owner of Suburban Inns, Adrian Harvey said: “The Royal will celebrate everything that makes a proper British pub great. From the perfect pint of Guinness to classic British pub food done exceptionally well, The Royal is well and truly back”.
The return of The Royal brings a wealth of job opportunities to Sutton Coldfield residents with over 50 jobs available from waiting staff to kitchen team members and front of house staff. To apply please email hello@theroyalsutton.co.uk
More details of the full opening and the official opening date will be revealed over the coming days on The Royal’s social media channels and locals are encouraged to follow @TheRoyalSuttonColdfield on Instagram and @TheRoyalSutton on Facebook and TikTok to stay updated.
Long live The Royal!
