Tandem, Leicester’s most anticipated restaurant by Cyrus Todiwala, has faced a project extension due to the premises being a Grade II listed building, located in the heart of the city centre.
As an English Heritage building of special interest, the team at Tandem has faced delays due to listed consent problems and are keen to ensure they take every measure possible to guarantee that no damage is done during the restoration.
Cyrus Todiwala, Chef Patron at Tandem, said: “It’s important we take extra time to get the restaurant looking exactly how we want and ensure that it is authentic to the Goan and Portuguese influences, whilst also maintaining the beauty and original features of the historical building.”

Tandem will be launching this September with booking lines opening soon.
