With warmer weather here and the British public preparing to make beer gardens and terraces their entire personality, I wanted to bring your attention to the terrace at The Alchemist Colmore Row in Birmingham, which I’d love for you to consider for any al fresco features you might be working on?
Known for its theatrical serves and inventive cocktails, The Alchemist has plenty to offer when the sun makes an appearance. With outdoor seating, a new summer food and drink menu, and £7 spritz sessions every Friday from June through August, it is a strong option for long lunches, after-work drinks and making the most of terrace weather.
Highlights include:
- Spritz Sessions: This summer, The Alchemist is making the case for the return of the big Friday night, with five £7 spritzes available from 4pm to 6pm, June through August, across all UK bars. From Hugo and Aperol to Sarti, Campari and Limoncello, the line-up covers everything from bright and citrusy to bitter and botanical, offering an easy excuse to swap the usual post-work pint for something a little more al fresco.
- (NEW) Food Menu: The new food menu gives guests plenty of reasons to make more of a terrace visit, from chicken and waffles at brunch to a crispy chicken and parmesan sandwich, smoky pork belly udon noodle broth, and bubble waffles with raspberry coulis and vanilla ice cream.
- (NEW) Sharing Drinks Menu: Beyond the Friday spritz sessions, the new drinks menu includes several serves designed with sharing in mind, including the XO Café Matcha Board, a set of six layered tequila and matcha shots, The Globe, a two-person Grey Goose serve with dark berries, rose, apple and citrus, and High Voltage, a strawberry and Courvoisier cocktail finished with an electric syringe.
