The Great British Spring Clean hits Kings Heath and Brandwood

All over the country, communities are coming together to clean up the streets and take part in the nation’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign.

One Birmingham group, the Kings Heath and Brandwood Litter Pickers, will definitely be taking part; they already meet every week to clean up the streets of their local area.

The members of the Kings Heath and Brandwood Litter Pickers adopt a street or park (or more than one) and volunteer regularly. They meet on most Sundays at 10 am on York Road, High Street and in the Brandwood neighbourhoods, they tackle litter on the first Sunday of the month, meeting outside Yarningale Road Shops at 10 am. The friendly group often meets for a tea or coffee after the litter pick to socialise and make further plans.
