THSH presents Project SoundLounge Festival

Following the success of last year’s first ever Project SoundLounge, the festival returns on the 8th-10th August 2014 with another free weekend packed full of Birmingham’s freshest and finest new musical talent.

The only free festival in the city organised and produced by young people, Project SoundLounge is committed to developing and promoting Birmingham’s future music scene, from the young creatives behind it to the performers themselves.

Boat to Row HeadlinerPerforming in-house at Town Hall Birmingham on Friday 8 August and Sunday 10 August, and at the Bandstand Brindleyplace and The REP on Saturday 9 August, Project SoundLounge is dedicated to showcasing the rich blend of musical diversity the city has to offer.

Ranging from jazz and soul, to folk and rock, each day will be see performances from artists of a different genre, drawing in passionate music lovers from across the board and encouraging audiences to discover something new.

The bill is laden with an exciting array of established and emerging local artists, with headliners Antelope, Hansu-Tori and Boat to Row epitomising the very best of the Birmingham music scene and encapsulating the musical variety it has to offer.

The team promise a vibrant weekend of celebration, with a few surprises too.
