The Nightingale, known to locals as ‘Gales’, is located in the Gay Village of Birmingham.

It’s one of the oldest and largest LGBT club venues and plays host to some of the best events in Birmingham.

It has a warm, welcoming, and fun atmosphere and lots of great deals on drinks.

The entertainment on offer is top notch too. Onstage in the basement you can catch performers dancing and entertaining the crowds, adorned in colourful outfits and makeup.

Upstairs there are three floors with great music, psychedelic wall art, and fun staff.

  1. The Custard Factory

Unleash your competitive streak with a game of Ghetto Golf at the Custard Factory.

All the holes are different in this 18-hole crazy golf experience, which makes it a memorable experience!

Delicious street food and drinks are included in the price, which makes this a real bargain!

  1. The Mailbox

Located in what used to be the old central post office, the Mailbox is now an amazing hub of restaurants, bars, fashion boutiques, and BBC television studios. There’s also plenty of venues serving drinks and dishes from across the globe.

Enjoy views of the canal from Bar Epernay and Aluna, or sample Italian food in Zizzi.

Head to Indico Street Kitchen between noon and 5 pm on weekdays to grab your choice of curry with naan or plain rice surrounded by the glamour of Indian cinema.

  1. O2 Institute

Considered to be one of the UK’s top live music venues, the O2 Institute in Birmingham consists of 3 main rooms. The largest can hold 1,500 at capacity and has 2 seated balcony levels.

The O2 Institute has hosted some stellar acts including Pink Floyd, The Cure, and the Arctic Monkeys. So keep your eyes peeled to see which headliner is heading your way when you’re staying at your Novel student accommodation in Birmingham.

Located in The Cube, Lane7 is a bowling alley that is packed full of activities to enjoy with your friends.

Birmingham has a reputation for having a cool mixology scene, and The Jekyll & Hyde is a great place to get started!

It’s a Victorian-themed bar in the heart of the city, which serves up an extensive selection of cocktails.

You’ll love it if you’re into mixology and all things exotic and mysterious.

If you fancy a relaxing night out then look no further than the Moonlight Cinema at Luna Springs in Digbeth.

Channel your inner grannie and get down to a bingo night at Bongo’s Bingo!

No but seriously, if you think this is the sort of bingo hall that elederly people go to, then you are very mistaken.

At Bongo’s the classic game has been completely reinvented into a chaotic, rip-roaring roller coaster adventure ride!

You’ll end up getting roped into dancing in a conga line, singing along to Frozen, participating in a mini-rave (with a club-level sound system!), and even potentially winning the cash prize of £1000!

This nightclub is one of Birmingham’s most opulent spots, and Bambu often plays host to some famous faces.
