Treat Your Queen – Mother’s Day at Albert’s Schloss Birmingham

The Bavarian-themed venue is set to team up with elderflower liqueur brand St. Germain for a special Mother’s Day celebration on 27th March

Those celebrating Mother’s Day in Birmingham this year will be in for a treat at Albert’s Schloss as the Bier Palace will be teaming up with St. Germain to gift visiting mums with either a St. Germain Royal or Apricot & Elderflower Spritz on arrival and a sweet treat to take home.

To spoil mums this year, Albert’s Schloss Birmingham will treat them to their choice of either a St. Germain Royal or an Apricot & Elderflower Spritz. Made with their famous elderflower liqueur, it has a captivating flavour reminiscent of tropical fruits, peach, pear, citrus, and a hint of honeysuckle. Known as ‘the bartender’s best friend’ thanks to its versatility, each bottle of St. Germain is 100% natural and contains up to one thousand handpicked elderflowers. Flower-gatherers collect the flowers annually in the spring over a period of three to four weeks, and transport them by bicycle to collection points to avoid damaging the petals. The Mother’s Day Special Spritz is made with with Apricot & Elderflower; St Germain, White Grapefruit and Apricot soda topped off with Prosecco. Both drinks are also available for purchase, with mums receiving a complimentary drink along with a sweet treat to take home.

Also on offer for Mother’s Day is the Sunday Service menu, as The Cook Haus will be serving up hearty Sunday roast dishes with all the trimmings; roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, maple-glazed roast root vegetables, seasonal greens and a generous helping of proper gravy, all against a backdrop of live entertainment including Albert’s Haus Band, Sunday Choirs and resident DJs.

Stand-out items on the menu include Sirloin of Lancashire Beef with Horseradish cream, Schweinshaxe with Caraway roasted pork knuckle and apple sauce and Paillard of Cheshire Chicken with cranberry and pistachio and pork stuffing, all served with Yorkshire puddings.

Albert’s Pudding Klub offers guests a range of indulgent desserts to finish off their Sunday, such as their Black Forest Gateau with sour cherry compote, vanilla cream and chocolate + kirsch sauce, Albert’s Apple Strudel with a spiced apple + raisin compote, filo pastry and vanilla sauce, and the Baked Alaska Flambé with orange parfait, shortbread, blackberry compote, vanilla ice cream, Italian meringue and grand marnier.

To top off Mum’s day, the venue has a selection of their favourite Sunday wines, recommending Red, White and Rosé pairings to guests, with prices ranging from £26 to £38 per bottle.

The Sunday Luncheon can be enjoyed as either a Two Course (£21) or Three Course (£25) sitting.
