Verve Lounge opens this SaturdayElevating Birmingham’s Nightlife Experience

Birmingham’s nightlife is about to reach new heights this February with the launch of Verve Lounge, a sophisticated and vibrant bar that promises to redefine your evening escapades.

Verve Lounge will open at 52 Gas Street, an iconic building that was built as a gun factory and later used as stables for the canal. More famously, it was once home to the legendary Bobby Brown’s nightclub in the 90’s. For those who don’t know, the canalside club, was a regular haunt for celebrities and Brummie party-goers throughout the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s before closing in 2003.

The name ‘Bobby Brown’s’ evokes memories of laughter, dancing bodies moving in sync to infectious rhythms, and friendships forged amidst thumping basslines. Bobby Brown’s nightclub was more than just a venue, it was a cultural hub that brought people together from all walks of life.

Now under the helm of Reece Chauhan, Verve Lounge is set to become Birmingham’s hottest new destination for those seeking an extraordinary night out. Nestled in the heart of the city on the Mailbox canal path, Verve Lounge invites guests to embark on a journey of entertainment, transporting you back to nights filled with youthful exuberance and endless possibilities.

With its comfortable chic decor, and fusion of contemporary and classic elements, the 250 capacity venue exudes an air of warmth and sophistication that sets it apart from the bright lights of Broad Street.

The bar boasts an extensive and innovative cocktail menu crafted by skilled mixologists who understand the art of libation. From timeless classics to signature concoctions that push the boundaries of flavour,  Verve Lounge promises a tantalising journey for your taste buds.

Entertainment takes centre stage at Verve Lounge, where live DJ sets, and house music nights will keep the energy pulsating throughout the week. The venue is designed to cater to the more mature clientele, ensuring that everyone finds their vibe on the dance floor or as a cosy spot to unwind with friends.

Reece Chauhan said : “Verve Lounge is not just a bar; it’s a lifestyle. We wanted to create a space where people can escape the ordinary and immerse themselves in a world of cultural comforts, taste, and entertainment.”

Further expansion is planned for the VIP area upstairs and the outdoor heated terrace will open in the summer.

To celebrate the grand opening, Verve Lounge will host an exclusive launch event on Thursday 1st February with the venue officially opening to the public on Saturday 3rd February.

Whether you’re a connoisseur of craft cocktails, a music enthusiast, or someone simply looking to elevate their nightlife experience, Verve Lounge invites you to join the celebration and become part of Birmingham’s most talked-about destination.
