Where to Play Bingo in Birmingham

For all those people that thought bingo halls were going to die due to the COVID-19 restrictions, they were wrong. Since reopening in May 2021, bingo halls have seen players return in droves which is great to see.

Today we’re going to look at which bingo halls have reopened in and around Birmingham. So, without further ado, here they are.

Buzz Bingo, Birmingham Great Park

Even though Buzz Bingo had to close down some of its bingo halls due to the pandemic, this one in Birmingham Great Park wasn’t one to dissolve, luckily. This Buzz Bingo is open every day of the week and has a great range of games on offer. The games start with Breakfast Bingo at 10:30 and finish with Late Night Bingo at 21:15. The main event runs from 19:00 to 21:00 and before that, three other bingo games are running throughout the day. Sunday is the only day that has one less game and this is because it opens later so you won’t find Breakfast Bingo on a Sunday. There is also a Twilight Bingo game, but this is only available online and it starts at 22:30 and ends at midnight.

You can also eat your lunch, dinner, and dessert at this Buzz Bingo if you get a bit peckish whilst playing. There are a couple of great deals like 2 house favourites for £9.50 and 2 desserts for £6.50. If this sounds appealing you can book your seats by calling or emailing via the details below.

Mecca Bingo Acocks Green

Mecca Acocks Green is open daily from 10:00 to midnight and many games are running each day. For the first two hours (10-12), you get to play 6 bingo games over an hour. The first one is £2.50 and the second game between 11 and 12 is £5. That’s for paper bingo anyway, Mecca Max allows you to buy packages of between 6 and 60 which cost more. There are four afternoon sessions and these run from 12 until 5 pm with a half-hour break at 2:30 and an hour break at 4:00 pm. Finally, the evening session starts at 6:00 pm and ends at 11:00 pm and there are also four sessions like the afternoon schedule.

If you’re planning an evening it’s best to book ahead of the day just to make sure that you get seats. That said, sometimes you can turn up last minute and manage to find seats available. If you’re feeling peckish, there are burgers, fish and chips, and more on the food menu. If you have the My Mecca App then you can order straight from that rather than having to order at the bar.
