The first three being absolute corkers with Kelvin Andrews / David Barbarossa & James Holroyd whom have all done us proud and some!

About ONE OF US:

It’s a real simple concept have a guest DJ we all admire & trust (One Of Us) play what the hell they want – late at night for our friends and fiends.

About Wrekin Havoc:

The Havoc lads have been around in various guises for years running parties / releasing records and Dj’ing all over – over lockdown they joined forces to release there first outing on vinyl (Wrekin Havoc – Playing With Fire EP) – pretty much sold out within weeks and support came from all the top players, Next EP Wrong Numbers is now in the shops with strong promo support again from the creme of DJ’s inc HMD, Eric Duncan, Bill Brewster, Kelvin Andrews, Phil Mison, Nick The Record, Pete Herbert, Max Essa along with many more. The third EP – Name Changer (also in the shops) has had much the same response as the first and second which also has been championed by DJ’s we all admire and the people we love….
They have the first of many originals out later this year, First being on – Is It Balearic – Here’s hoping they’re not just flash in the pan edit fiends and can take it to the next phase (plenty more edits incoming though just in case).

About Our Guest DJ for October: Talking Drums

Welcome to the wonderful weird of Talking Drums – home to poorly executed dance moves, misjudged vibes and narcotic bravery. Semi-Cosmic, way wonky and oozing grooves, this is music for disco mystics and club misfits.

Don’t adjust the tracking – this is Talking Drums. A loose crew of disco weirdos who’ve been doing this for longer than a little while. Boasting a collective two decades behind record shop counters and about a century of raiding racks and pound bins, these guys have the juice to power a party in all styles at any tempo. Their free-flowing, far reaching and fun approach to playing records has seen them pack dance-floors across the U.K. and Europe since their teen years, and they just keep getting better.

United by their love of wavy and wonky sounds, the DJ sets and dinner parties soon became a DIY record label, home to wrong speeders and innovative edits beloved by the likes of DJ Harvey, Soulwax, Erol Alkan and Gerd Janson. Art, words, music and mood all embody the thoughtful stupidity of the TD family – there’s some big brain action hiding behind the goofy face…

So whether on wax or in person, Talking Drums deliver a kaleidoscopic trip through the broadest fringes of disco, cosmic, Balearic and beyond, best enjoyed with poorly executed dance moves and narcotic bravery. 100% Drum Fun Guaranteed.

The Drum Chums are 100% ONE OF US.

Come Join us – Let’s make merry and dance to the beat of our own drum(s) 😉
