This autumn, Yardbirds in Stirchley is turning up the heat with a creative and flavour-packed calendar of events – from hands-on workshops to craft beer tastings, family fun, and live comedy.
Located at 1505-1507 Pershore Road, the independent restaurant has made a name for itself serving up crispy all-American fried chicken, indulgent wings, and a wide range of veggie and vegan options. With its focus on great food, craft beer, and community, Yardbirds has become one of Stirchley’s most-loved local hangouts.

Cardboard Mask-Making with Tat Vision
Wednesday 23rd October, 6–9pm
Get crafty with Birmingham’s very own Tat Vision and learn how to turn cardboard boxes into wild, wearable art.
All materials are provided, and every ticket includes a free drink (beer, wine, or soft drink). Perfect for creative types and Halloween prep alike.

Kids Halloween Film Club
Friday 31st October & Saturday 1st November, 12-5pm
Families are invited to join in for a frightfully fun afternoon featuring Halloween movies, crafts, trick-or-treat desserts, and spooky drinks. To top it off, kids can eat for just £1 with every adult meal.
Crafts include Skull Suncatchers, Colour-me-in Fabric Bags, Halloween Wind Chimes, Spooky Bracelets and Scary Scatch Masks.

Siren x Yardbirds: Beer & Wings Tasting Night
Thursday 20th November, 7pm (bar open from 6pm)
Yardbirds teams up with Siren Craft Brew for an epic guided tasting six beers, six wing flavours (18 wings overall), and a whole lot of flavour. Each ticket includes all beers, wings, and a tasting led by a Siren rep. Chicken and cauliflower wings available.

Comedy Coop – Fried Chicken & Stand-Up Comedy
Thursday 4th December, 7:30pm (doors open 6:30pm)
Expect a night of big laughs, cold beers, and great food. Hosted by MC John Hassan with a hilarious line-up featuring Dave Flynn, Fraser Ball, Caleb James, and Lovdev Barpaga. Each ticket includes a Yardbirds burger (or main) with fries – veggie and vegan options available.
