The Castle & Falcon

The Castle and Falcon established itself way back in 1852, and has been home to live music for decades, hosting legendary acts such as UB40 and Duran Duran whilst also being the epicentre for Birmingham’s punk scene for several years.

After a complete renovation the pub reopened as a 100 and 300 capacity venue space, returning to the original name The Castle and Falcon.

In late 2017 a whole host of local promoters came onto the scene including Birmingham Promoters, Sonic Gun, Killer Wave, Catapult Club, Surprise You’re Dead and Punks Alive as well as some of the nation’s biggest promoters Live Nation and SJM promotions. The Castle has been lucky enough to have bands travel as far as Canada, North and South America and even Russia to play, as well as giving a platform to some of the biggest risings stars in music including Mahalia, Riscas, Sam Fender, The Night Cafe, Boy Azooga and more.

There’s a front bar, and main music back venue with an enclosed beer garden out front for fine weather.

The Castle like to keep busy and try to have as many new and exciting acts grace the stage as possible, as well as keeping the party going every Friday and Saturday night with DJs spinning until the early hours, within a safe environment and friendly, yet professional security team.

The Caste and Falcon welcome as many new faces as possible to their humble venue, to see what they have coming soon check out the events page here. If you like what you see tickets can be purchased from Seetickets!
