When quality doesn’t have to have a huge price tag. Reiss Clearance Sale.

Tucked away in the back of the eclectic Custard Factory, something quite remarkable is happening. A clearance sale that puts the consumer first and charitable causes.

Having been one of the crowds rifling through vintage kilo sales and grappling at tables amassed with clothes and wondering if you will truly find anything amongst the nonsense. The Reiss clearance sale felt like a breath of fresh air.

On entering you are invited to leave bags and jackets at the cloak room. This is run by a local Birmingham charity, Get Ahead who are championing research and care for head and neck cancer patients. As the clearance sale makes its away around the country organisers ensure a local charity reaps the rewards of the suggested donation at the cloak room. This left me gleeful that a small local project is benefiting from this event.

Belongings safely stowed away a well-lit warehouse with organised rails filled with men and women’s fashion in colour, size and style orders were easily navigated. Wide aisles really let the customer see what was on offer and more importantly let the high-quality garments shine.

Leather coats had nearly 75% off, quality snuggly wools and sleek, sophisticated classics all ranging between £20-£30.

Reiss established in 1971, a recognised luxury brand on the high street, it prides itself on sleek, innovative, classic design using lavish materials, and that is exactly what you find here at the event. However, the difference is, the price tag has been slashed. Incredible discounts were on offer when I browsed the wide range that was available. Leather coats had nearly 75% off, quality snuggly wools and sleek, sophisticated classics all ranging between £20-£30. Even glitzy, party wear that would make most ladies grin was rarely above £40.

Men have plenty to peruse with suits, trousers, shirts, jackets and sports wear. There were plenty of men trying things on and the sleek cut on suits really raised the fashion status in comparison to other Highstreet brands. There were a host of friendly staff on hand to help find sizes and offer advice on fits and style. Giving an atmosphere of expertise and a personal shopper vibe.

It is not just clothes that can be found at the event, there are an array of accessories- from belts and hats, swimwear, toiletries and shoes. The shoes also include known brands like Converse at striking prices.

Rather than struggling to find something to buy you will most likely be struggling to decide which items to choose but at these prices grab what you can and with Reiss’s classic style and uncompromising quality they will act as classic wardrobe items opposed to throw away fashion.

This is savvy shopping for the style conscious that won’t break the bank.
