Acclaimed Scottish singer-songwriter Adam Beattie ‘Uplifting Reveries of Love’ (Mojo Magazine) and multi-platinum singer-songwriter Fiona Bevan ‘Startling odysseys’ (The Guardian)

Adam Beattie is a Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has just released his fifth

solo album. Adam writes contemporary Scottish folk songs and also has songs that step into other roots genres. An early break found him supporting Bert Jansch at the O2 ABC, Glasgow.

The press described Adam’s latest album ‘Somewhere Round the Bend’ as “Stirring Folk Balladry” (Line of Best Fit) and his music has been described as “Incredibly beautiful” (Mary Anne Hobbs BBC 6 Music) and “Fantastic” (Bob Harris BBC Radio 2). The album was also championed by Roddy Hart, (BBC Radio Scotland) who featured it as his ‘Record of Note’.

The release followed his Rough Trade Records debut with PicaPica, and his folk 12-piece ‘Band of Burns’ receiving 5 stars from BBC Music Magazine.

As a multi-instrumentalist he has accompanied Birdy, Lulu, Michael Chapman and Mikey Kenney and others.
