RawSound TV Launches Groundbreaking 24/7 Music Channel Championing Grassroots Artists
Independent, volunteer-run platform RawSound TV unveils dedicated streaming service featuring live performances, acoustic sessions, and continuous music programming.
RawSound TV, the Birmingham based, unfunded and volunteer powered music platform that has spent eight years championing local grassroots and established artists in the local area and beyond, today announces the launch of its ambitious new 24/7 streaming channel. The independent service will provide round-the-clock access to high-quality live music content, giving emerging and established musicians an invaluable platform to reach new audiences.
The new dedicated streaming service marks a significant evolution for RawSound TV, which has built a devoted following of over 7,000 supporters across social media platforms and featured more than 350 artists since its inception. The 24/7 channel will showcase the platform’s flagship programme ‘Studio Sessions’, alongside an acoustic show, music video shows, integrated radio station programming, and a full schedule of original content with more planned.
“This launch represents a major milestone for RawSound TV and, more importantly, for the artists we serve,” said founder and producer, Mark Piddington. “For eight years, we’ve been committed to giving talented musicians a professional platform to showcase their work. Our new 24/7 channel takes that mission to the next level, offering continuous exposure and discovery opportunities that simply didn’t exist before for grassroots artists.” A musician himself, Mark goes on to say “We’re really proud to have built up this in our city which has such a great musical history, having produced some world-famous artists.
