People don’t always agree with what comes out of Jess Phillips’ mouth but few can argue with her being one of the most straightforward communicators out there, and we’re delighted to welcome her back to Political Therapy after her last appearance in 2023.
Since her last visit she’s fought and held on to her seat in Yardley and entered government as Minister for Safeguarding, a natural and timely fit given her background.
Normally we’re a little reluctant to invite sitting MPs with their tendency to slip into party-scripted platitudes, but we’re confident that the shackles of office will be at worst the exception that proves the rule in the case of Jess and we look forward, as always, to a lively and insightful evening of therapeutic politics.
