A transportive night of psych pop haze, melodic indie shimmer and rising talent charm arrives at The Victoria on Thursday, 16th July, as ACUA headline, with support from Bluewalk and Onfim.

Cologne’s ACUA have carved out a reputation for live shows that feel hypnotic, atmospheric and quietly overwhelming in the best way. Made up of Patrick (vocals, guitar), Caroline (drums), Maja (synth) and Igor (bass), the band blends swirling synths, driving rhythms and airy guitars into a sound that sits somewhere between dream state introspection and widescreen alt pop.

After touring across Europe, Canada, the UK and Japan, and appearing at festivals including Melt!, Reeperbahn, Canadian Music Week, and Herzberg Festival, ACUA now prepare to release their third album. New singles ‘Now And Nothing’ and ‘Fearing And Facing The World’ offer a vivid preview: expansive, melodic tracks that deepen their already distinctive sonic world.

Bluewalk bring a warm, nostalgic glow to the night. Their sound draws on 60s pop melodies and harmonies, stitched together with the rhythmic sway of bands like The Stone Roses and The Police. Slide guitar, flutes and organ add a left field charm, creating songs that feel instantly familiar yet entirely their own.

Opening the evening are Birmingham’s Onfim, a five piece blending dream pop softness with slacker rock grit. Influenced by Alvvays and Pavement, they weave three part harmonies, distortion and tender lyricism into something heartfelt and quietly powerful. The band, Charlotte Edgington, Sam Riley, Ben Torrens, Eleanor Hill and Claire Atkin, bring a thoughtful, melodic energy that sets the tone perfectly.

A Thursday night filled with psych pop atmosphere, nostalgic indie warmth and dreamy guitar driven storytelling that’s unmissable for anyone who loves live music that feels immersive, melodic and full of character.
