Black Beacon Sound record label and shop stops off in Birmingham in conjunction with the imprint’s ‘10 Years Tour’, for a special matinee event in the basement of legendary Birmingham record shop, The Diskery.
Join the label downstairs in the shop on Saturday 6th June from 2pm-5pm for a coming together of old pals and mighty live music featuring the post-rock sounds of ‘Lost Coda’ and folk-laden shoegaze of ‘Oh Papa’.
‘Lost Coda’ – atmospheres and beats from a talented duo from London; sounds of experimental, post-rock, folktronica, and ambient. BBS has history with one member, ‘Mono Works’, who has released on the label and we are excited to hear where this new project takes us.

Expect to find soulful dreamscapes in their music; full of charm and mischief.

These two bands take the stage in the basement of Birmingham’s oldest [est. 1952] record shop, The Diskery. Known for its extensive rare finds, wide array of music, and treasure troves of vinyl in store, the shop also continues to cast its support for the local independent music scene and community. The special afternoon performance takes place in the basement, intimately surrounded by shelves of records.
