Call for Entries Opens for the 13th Annual Midlands Fashion Awards

The Midlands Fashion Awards announces its call for entries for the 2020 Midlands Fashion Awards event, calling new and emerging fashion designers and creative talent from across the Midlands and its surrounding areas.

The awards provide a much-needed platform for the diverse and exciting Midlands fashion scene to present creative ideas and get noticed. This year’s awards now welcome submissions fromnew and emerging fashion and accessory designers, stylists, make-up artists and fashion photographers who want to showcase their innovative designs and gain exposure and recognition.

This year’s categories are:

  • Emerging Designer of the Year
  • Sustainability Designer of the Year
  • Young Fashion Designer of the Year (Graduates)
  • Accessory Designer of the Year
  • Professional Make-up Artist of the Year
  • Rising Star Make-up Artist
  • Fashion Stylists of the Year
  • Fashion Photographer of the Year

Each category will be judged by a panel of industry experts from leading fashion organisations, make-up experts, stylist and beauty journalists and professional photographers. Judges will be looking for the most cutting edge and eco-conscious designers and creative talent from across the region. Shortlisted entrants will have their entries showcased at the Midlands Fashion Awards.

Category winners will gain a Midlands Fashion Award Trophy of Excellence, catwalk exposure, mentoring opportunities from industry professionals, promotion and exposure in the press and social media alongside the opportunity to network and collaborate. Previous Midlands Fashion Awards winners and participants have gone on to showcase at Fashion Week’s around the globe as well as gain prestigious press coverage and stockists.
