Free Family Concert in Birmingham 8 November

A 45 minute musical adventure to the Tudor period, as acclaimed early music ensemble Stile Antico take centre stage, captivating audiences at a special free choral music event suitable for young people and their families.

Explore the life of Renaissance composer William Byrd, whose 400th anniversary is this year.

Discover who Byrd worked for, what types of music he composed, who influenced his music-making and how he shared his music with others.

During the concert there are opportunities to get involved by singing rounds, exploring Byrd’s Reasons to Sing and taking part in a new piece of music, composed by Kerry Andrew and commissioned specially for Byrd’s 400th anniversary.
