Lobster Launch Debut Album at Popular Birmingham Nightclub

Lobster To Launch Debut Album at The Night Owl on Saturday 4th November The highly-anticpated debut album by Brummie Reggae Punk Renegades Lobster, ‘Year of the Lobster’, which was recorded, mixed and mastered at Magic Garden Recording Studio in Wolverhampton, will be released on Saturday 4th November 2023 on vinyl and digital platforms.

The band completed the recording of the album in December of 2019 and were ready for it to be released in 2020, until COVID19 reared it’s unwelcome, ugly head, shutting down production and decimating the band’s core source of income – live performances.

Having made the decision early into the recording process that they would release the album on vinyl, once lockdown restrictions were lifted Lobster set to work rebuilding their depleted funds in order to release the album exactly how they intended. The physical album comes with a properly designed gatefold cover, which was done in collaboration with renowned Birmingham street artist VOID ONE.

This milestone moment in the band’s career will be celebrated at the Lobster Album Launch Party live at The Night Owl on Saturday 4th November.
