Getaways on a student budget

With lockdown restrictions lifting in the UK and more countries are getting added to the green list, we can understand the desire of wanting a getaway after a year and a half stuck indoors. Summer has finally arrived, and we are itching to pack our bags and board a plane to a holiday filled with sunshine and beaches. However, getaways can be expensive, especially if you are a student trying to survive on a student loan and no part time job.

Prior to booking any holidays, be sure to have sufficient funds to pay for your getaway. Portugal

Portugal is the best of both words if you’re looking for a city break but still want to enjoy golden sand and clear beaches. Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the classic student getaway location and a popular tourist location. There’s plenty here for everyone to enjoy, from museums to bike rides, to coffee shops. If you’re looking for picturesque with a chilled atmosphere, Amsterdam is the place for you. It’s filled with art galleries and museums to enjoy, and let’s not forget the Anne Frank House which should be at the top of your list to visit when you get to Amsterdam!
