Grassroots Festival returns on Sunday 3rd May Bank Holiday with La Dharma headlining and over 15 other local independent artists.

Live music lovers, this one’s for you. Grassroots Festival is returning to Birmingham’s The Night Owl on Sunday 3rd May, after its sell out year in 2025 – you can expect a full day of fresh sounds, big energy, and the future of music.

Running from 2PM to 11PM, the one-day festival will showcase 18+ rising brummie acts across two stages, giving a spotlight to the artists and venues that keep the live scene thriving.

Shannon Davies, founder, said “I’m so excited to bring this event back to Birmingham for 2026 – I never expected the love and support we received in 2025. The future of live music relies on everyone supporting independent venues, artists and crew – I’m looking forward to bringing over 18 acts down to Digbeth and I hope to see you there.”

Expect new favourites, unforgettable sets, and a crowd that truly backs grassroots music. Add street food and great vibes into the mix, and you’ve got the perfect Sunday session.
