The award-winning premium bar operator behind Manahatta is going for gold with its latest bar offering, BOX. This will be a game-changing, high-quality sports bar and kitchen opening just in time for the FA Cup showdown between Manchester United and Manchester City.
This venue will be a game changer on the Birmingham social scene when it opens in Brindleyplace on 3rdJune, not just in terms of size and premium offering but in creating that winning combination of watch, play and party.
This massive brand-new 10,000sq ft venue (in the old Pizza Express location) is a visual dream, spread over two floors and can hold 575 guests. The ground floor boasts an impressive open kitchen, an island bar and is surrounded by 32 top-of-the-range TV screens so guests can watch the biggest and best sports live. So, whether football, boxing, athletics or Formula One is your thing, BOX certainly sets the bar high at being the best place to enjoy all the adrenaline-fuelled action.
Aside from being the best place to enjoy live sport, BOX will also feature two 18-foot maple wood European Shuffleboard tables so guests can play and have fun and fully immerse themselves in the sports vibe.
It’s not all sports fun as the team are going big on a lively party atmosphere too. BOX is introducing a live band every Friday and Saturday night playing favourite floor-fillers, along with a resident ‘Bandeoke’ hosted every Thursday night, providing guests the chance to come on stage to perform with an experienced band. For those who don’t fancy singing on stage, you can also hire their swish private karaoke room for you and your friends.
This first-class venue will boast a show-stopping food and drink offering. The food menu includes a range of brand-new innovative mouth-watering dishes including Tater Tots, Hot Honey and N’duja Pizza, a Pizza Fondue – triple cheese stuffed pizza dough smothered in garlic butter, with a fondue of melted cheese and pizza sauce. Plus Detroit-style deep dish pizzas and the known classics including burgers, premium kebabs and more, all made with the finest quality ingredients.
BOX also has a spectacular upstairs bar and private dining room as well an outdoor area for 30 seats. The top-class drinks selection is paired with high-quality, classic cocktails and the newly developed menu will also feature a speciality section devoted to tequila-based cocktails. Not only this, but the venue will also offer BOX steins and sharing cocktails including the Pornstar Steintini and Largeritas, to truly bring the larger-than-life spirit to Birmingham. BOX guarantees a world class selection of beers for every occasion, from refreshing lagers and hoppy pale ales to fruity IPA’s and moreish stouts.
