Birmingham-based Christmas lighting and decorating specialists Light Up Christmas are turning up the festive sparkle this year after securing three major new contracts to transform some of the region’s best-known destinations for Christmas.
The company has been appointed to create spectacular seasonal decorations for 3 more venues, Bell Court, Cadbury World and Arthrex Solihull. Millennium Point and Warwick Castle have also re-signed a three year deal to bring its bespoke Christmas installations to thousands of visitors throughout the festive season.
Louise Walsh, MD of Light Up Christmas says : “As well as commercial venues we have been working with high end residential properties too. We have been delighted with the growth of Light Up this year. Our order book has increased by 12% and we have been working with even more venues across the country such as Harrods and Sky TV.
With both residential and commercial enquiries still coming in, the growth has enabled Light Up to increase their workforce by creating 2 more full time roles and 2 part time jobs in the Midlands at their city centre workshop.
From eye-catching illuminations and statement installations to traditional Christmas décor, Light Up Christmas specialises in creating memorable festive experiences for businesses, hospitality venues, leisure attractions and public spaces. The three new contracts add to an already impressive portfolio of Christmas installations and reflect the growing demand for professionally designed festive décor that creates a real wow factor.
Louise adds. “Larger venues are more and more seeking the perfect backdrop for those all-important Christmas photographs, but they also know it’s an important driver of footfall, and that’s why we strive to get bigger and better every year.”
