Kilo Ziro’s key focus on reducing waste and carbon footprint has resulted in a completely unique bar concept – making Kilo Ziro the UK’s First Zero Waste Café Bar & Taproom. A selection of organic, natural & biodynamic wines are served by the glass via the self-service ‘Wine & Fizz Refills’ tap wall. Also available for you to dispense in taster measures, it gives a perfect opportunity for wine tastings – you can even fill a bottle to take home and bring it back for refill next time! Their wines come in a 20.5L kegs that are given back to the supplier to be refilled – cutting out up to 96% of carbon emissions generated from regular glass bottles.
Local craft beers and ciders are available on tap via refillable stainless-steel kegs – super fresh pints whilst supporting the best of local brewers and reducing carbon miles.
Kilo Ziro selects their producers and suppliers based on locality, sustainable ethos and quality – meaning that you will not see your average corporate brands. Expect to find a range of spirits locally distilled in the West Midlands and independent companies who champion reducing their impact on the environment such as certified carbon negative rums, gins, whiskeys.
The mindfully crafted cocktail menu uses selected spirits combined with innovative methods of reducing waste and lowering carbon footprint. From rice paper printed passion fruits to eliminate a carbon-heavy fruit shipped across the world to be used a garnish, to reducing the amount of lemon and lime waste by experimenting with critic mixes and creating homemade flavoured syrups with leftover fruit rinds.
During the day, Kilo Ziro is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of locally roasted coffee and a Hazelnut Pain Au Chocolate with your laptop/book/mate or even your pet – Kilo Ziro are cat and dog friendly!

Locally made Afternoon Tea is a collaboration with other exciting independent businesses. Kilo Ziro are the winners of MFDHA Best Afternoon Tea award 2023 too, so you’ll be in for a tea-reat!
