The Prince of Wales, Moseley

The Prince of Wales (since 1861) is arguably one of the best pubs in the UK. The front of the pub is a real ale bar with Victorian features. It’s an old style boozer in the heart of Moseley with all the characters you would imagine propping up the bar.

Then next up, through a narrow corridor is the lavish Victorian cocktail bar with great ambiance and even better cocktails served up in style, and an additional snug bar to the right.

Further out the back you will arrive at the cigar bar, selling the finest in cigars for those who like a puff! To the right is a Wine hut which offers some great deals and with a dedicated wine expert to help you choose wine either by the glass or bottle to take out.

Finally the back yard is a large beer garden (seating for 200) and is covered with outdoor heating, a covered smokers area and a Tiki beach bar to top it off. There are various events from occasional live music events to parties throughout the year. Oops.. Not forgetting the brill Chili Dogs stall.

One of the best real ale pubs in the world which also specialises in rum! The cask ales vary and keep the regulars wobbling back for more.
