Midlands Fashion Awards call on Local Businesses for support!

Birmingham, June 2017: The 2017 Midlands Fashion Awards is inviting local businesses to sponsor this year’s event in a bid to support the wealth of fresh and inspiring creative talent in Birmingham and the wider Midlands region.

Launched just over a decade ago, the awards provide a much needed platform for the diverse and exciting Midlands fashion scene, to present creative ideas and get noticed by leading industry professionals. It recognises and celebrates the exceptional and emerging talent in the fields of fashion design, fashion styling and make-up artistry in the Midlands.

The aim of the Awards is to encourage and promote fashion and creative individuals; to support excellence and champion local talent.

Bringing creatives and fashionistas from the region together for a night of glitz and glamour, the Awards will be held in October, 2017 at the impressive CBSO Centre Birmingham.

Jenny Eason, Founder and Managing Director of the Midlands Fashion Awards said:

This year marks the 10th consecutive year for the Midlands Fashion Awards and each year the event is going from strength to strength. I have been blown away by the support we have received to date from brands and businesses that have helped to make the Awards what it has become.

The event is such a fantastic opportunity for the creative talent in our region to showcase their work and receive the recognition they deserve. Support from local companies is key for us to be able to continue making this event a success.

Along with recognition on the evening and an active part in Midlands biggest fashion show, the sponsorship opportunities provide unrivalled marketing benefits to be profiled within the region.

Previous show sponsors have included Resorts World Birmingham, Selfridges, Retail Birmingham, Alan Sharman Agency, The Edgbaston Boutique Hotel, Marco Pierre White Restaurants, Steel and Jelly, Malmaison alongside many others.

In addition to finding sponsors, The Midlands Fashion Awards are looking for Birmingham business professionals who would be interested in providing advice and mentorship to the Award finalists.

It’s a really important part of the Awards process as our finalists are able to speak with experienced industry professionals to gain guidance and support. As a mentee you are able to become part of helping to build local home grown talent within the industry, placing Birmingham and the Midlands firmly on the map.
