100% Vegan, Plant Based eatery ‘Fressh’ brings fast-casual focus to Birmingham city centre.
Set to open in the heart of Birmingham City centre at unit 5, City Arcade B2 4TX, the 20-seat venue takes an ethical fast-food approach that is good for you, the animals and the planet.
Line up at the counter to choose from a range of made-to-order dishes, and move along the counter to watch your food freshly prepared right in front of you.
As you’d expect for a plant-based menu, there’s a wide range of salads such as Kale Caesar, Chickpea Tuna, Quinoa Falafel with Green Hummus and Taco Bowl.
There are burgers and baked fries, including the ‘What the Guac’ burger stuffed with guacamole, tortilla strips and their secret sauce. Other hot dishes include the Mac N’ Cheese with a creamy sauce and a Meatball Sub in Marina Sauce topped with Vegan Mozzarella.
Breakfast options include Breakfast burrito, Tofu egg and cheese Muffin, Acai Smoothie Bowl and so on.
Their coffee is a speciality Granary Blend – certified Direct Trade, bought straight from the growers, cutting out both the traditional organisations that control certifications such as Fair Trade.
Vegan food has been on the rise in recent years with people becoming more aware of its benefits. I feel there is a need for having a really delicious, high quality Vegan eatery that is easy to access. Think fast service, fresh inspiring recipes at affordable prices, then we can really make a difference in helping Vegan food become more mainstream.
I think the new wave for Vegan food should be for everyone, which is different from Vegan food designed for Vegans. This is why we are going with recognisable items whilst adding our own twist on these – Kale Caesar, Taco Bowl, Mac N Cheese, Pesto Pasta, Guac Burger to name a few.
