Birmingham’s newly transformed O’Neill’s New Street is bringing St. Patrick’s Day forward this September, with live Irish music, £3 Guinness and plenty of craic as it celebrates the halfway point to Ireland’s biggest party of the year.
Following its recent £1 million transformation, O’Neill’s New Street will host its Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day Party on Thursday 17th September, giving Birmingham an excuse to enjoy a taste of St. Paddy’s six months early.
The celebrations will get underway from 5pm with live music from Out for the Craic, before Willow Station take to the stage at 7.30pm, bringing an evening of Irish music, big singalongs and the lively atmosphere O’Neill’s has become famous for.
And it wouldn’t be an Irish celebration without a Guinness.
From 14th–18th September, guests using the O’Neill’s app can enjoy Guinness for just £3 and Jameson & Lime for £4, while groups can also pick up four Baby Guinness shots for £11.50.
Guests looking to make a full day of it can also tuck into an Irish Brunch, with the venue’s usual brunch offering available throughout the celebrations and the final sitting at 8pm.
The event comes shortly after the opening of the newly transformed O’Neill’s New Street, following an investment of more than £1 million into the former Windsor pub.
The redevelopment has transformed the city-centre venue and brought its second floor back into use for the first time in several years, creating a new destination for live music, sport, food, drinks and nights out in Birmingham.
The upstairs space features a mezzanine-style design overlooking the main bar alongside its own live performance stage, while music takes place at the venue every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
O’Neill’s New Street is also home to four Arrowsmiths digital dart boards, including Birmingham’s first accessible Arrowsmiths oche.
