Quentin Francis return with their funk-fuelled third single F.C. (Take This From Me)

Indie pop four-piece Quentin Francis are set to release their third single ‘F.C. (Take This From Me)’ on Friday 10th November with an accompanying music video. The self-released single is the first of a string of new material set to reach the stratosphere in the new year. F.C. is a funky, shimmering indie bop that harks back to the Summer of 2023 we never really had.

Recorded and produced by Sam Stringer, F.C. (Take This From Me) is a shattering fantasy of love and romance under the guise of a synthy pop ditty. Dynamic bass licks undercut dreamy synthscapes accompanied by jangly guitars and laidback drum patterns.

On Friday 10th November F.C. (Take This From Me) will be available to stream on major platforms and available to buy on Bandcamp, iTunes and similar sites. To pre-save and pre-order click the link here.

Bio

Birmingham four-piece Quentin Francis – comprised of Matty George, Ross Carley, Luke McCrohon and James Morris – burst onto the scene in late 2019 with an exciting, fun-loving indie pop-rock sound and squeezed in a string of successful shows ending with a support slot with Gaffa Tape Sandy before the lockdown struck.

Throughout the lockdown they seized their freetime and performed in multiple livestream concerts for Hot Vox, The Sunflower Lounge and Dead Wax as well as working away at new material. Fast forward to 2021 and their debut release ‘Molly’ shook the city accompanied by its fully DIY music video and subsequent 2022 release ‘Work’.

2023 sees the rebirth of Quentin Francis as they’re set to release their third single simply titled ‘F.C.’. A funk-fuelled, indie-pop hit made for the Summer we never had. QF are currently working away at new material for the late end of 2023 and early 2024 release which sees them adopt a new sound and style as they see in a new era of the band.
