Seventh Circle Artworks & Aesthetics

Seventh Circle isn’t about pretension. They believe art should be exciting, truly accessible, and unapologetically authentic. Forget the hushed conversations and velvet ropes here, you’ll find a warm welcome  and incredible, independent art that genuinely speaks for itself.

Founded in 2019 by Chez, Seventh Circle began as a studio in Cosford, Wolverhampton, initially focused on bringing bold, original art into interior design projects. The COVID-19 pandemic, however, brought unexpected changes, leading to a brief but formative period operating from their garden workshop, real grass roots origins  (literally!). This adaptable spirit ultimately led them to their true home in 2022 in Moseley Village, Birmingham. It was there that Chez’s partner of nine years, Marie, joined, and together they transformed the space into a vibrant hub where artists, collectors, and art lovers could connect. From expansive abstracts and cultural icon portraits to graffiti, cityscapes, sculpture, and ceramics, if it’s bold, beautiful, and compelling, it often finds a place. They also developed their renowned framing service during this time, because great art deserves quality framing.

Marie and Chez are the driving force behind Seventh Circle, bringing a combined wealth of experience in the arts and a shared passion for championing diverse artistic voices. Marie has been involved in the industry since her late teens, while Chez has spent nearly two decades honing his craft across framing, curation, exhibition design, and his own artistic practice. Their combined expertise helps ensure each piece is presented with both technical care and a clear artistic vision.

Digbeth: A Bold New Chapter for Creativity

Seventh Circle is embarking on an exciting and ambitious new chapter with a move to Digbeth. This new, significantly expanded space is envisioned as a comprehensive creative hub, featuring:

* A much larger gallery area

* A custom-built framing workshop

* A dedicated space for events and workshops

* Individual studio spaces for artists

It’s intended to be a place where creativity, community, and artistic passion truly converge, further establishing Seventh Circle as a key destination for independent art. More than just a gallery, it’s a supportive space dedicated to lifting up artists whose voices deserve to be heard.

With this move, they are setting the stage for even more dynamic projects, collaborations, and community engagement. The doors will officially open in Autumn 2025, and they genuinely look forward to welcoming you into their next chapter, where art, authenticity, and a whole lot of heart find their bold new home.
