Beauty at The Botanist

A popular Birmingham bar is bringing cosmetics and cocktails together for a one-off charity beauty event on Tuesday 13 September.

In a first for the city centre bar, the Botanist is collaborating with Toni & Guy, Kiehl’s and Elemis, and inviting Birmingham beauty buffs to come down from 5:30pm. They will be able to enjoy treatments and gain expert knowledge from hair and beauty professionals.

Guests at the event will be greeted with complimentary Prosecco and will experience a mini masterclass in both cocktails and cosmetics, as well as receiving treatments such as mini facials, arm and hand massages, hair ups and curls.

The night is being hosted as part of The New World Trading Company’s charity month, in support of Barndardo’s 150th anniversary. During September, all NWTC sites across the country will be holding events and activities, as they aim to break their £35,000 fundraising target.

Tickets for Beauty at The Botanist are £15 and include a glass of prosecco, a cocktail, and a range of treatments, with all proceeds going to Barnardo’s.

Harriet Giles, business development manager at The Botanist, said:

We are really excited to bring a new event to the bar and to be working with some industry experts in both hair and beauty, all whilst raising money for a great cause.

We love getting glammed up for a night out with our friends, so we’ll be a one-stop-shop for the night for all things cosmetics and cocktails!

There has already been a lot of interest around the event and with limited spaces available, I urge everyone to book their place sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment!

The city centre bar is hosting another event on Sunday 11 September to raise money for Barnardo’s. From 2pm guests can come down to enjoy its Tequila Festival, an afternoon of tequila history, games, samples, and four free drinks, provided by top quality tequila brands. Tickets cost £15 with all proceeds going to Barnardo’s.
