Check out these 6 totally unique Halloween events!
AND they’re all happening at the same venue!
From a 1970s prom night inspired by horror classic Carrie, to live psychobilly, spooky cabaret and a sold-out Monster Mash, Digbeth’s much-loved independent music venue The Night Owl is celebrating Halloween with six events across two weeks.
The Night Owl has become renowned for its elaborate Halloween celebrations, transforming its Digbeth venue into everything from the world of Stranger Things to Tim Burton-inspired wonderlands, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and its very own A Nightmare on Trinity Street.
This October, the venue is going bigger than ever, with six Halloween events taking place between Friday 23rd and Saturday 31st October. Expect spectacular venue makeovers, live music, DJs, themed cocktails, fancy dress and plenty of spooky surprises, with something for everyone.
With its flagship Monster Mash Halloween Party already sold out two weeks in advance, there’s still plenty of opportunity for Birmingham’s Halloween lovers to get involved.
- Friday 23rd October – 70s Prom Night
Inspired by the 50th anniversary of the iconic horror film Carrie, The Night Owl is taking partygoers back to the 1970s for a gloriously groovy prom night with a sinister twist.
Expect live music – prom-style, retro DJs, themed cocktails and a spectacular venue transformation, complete with a classic prom photo backdrop for those wonderfully awkward school dance portraits.
Guests are encouraged to dig out their most authentic 70s prom outfits, with the best-dressed attendees in the running to be crowned Prom Royalty. Just hope the evening doesn’t end quite like the film!
