Children’s Activities Week Begins!

Children’s Activities Week (CAW), the UK’s largest annual celebration of children’s activities and fundraising event, is now live until 19th May.

The exciting week of fun and fundraising will see thousands of children taking part in classes, clubs and activities all over the UK.

Organiser What’s On 4 Kids has teamed up with Caudwell Children, a national charity dedicated to increasing equal access and opportunities for disabled and autistic children nationwide, with 100% of all donations from the event being directed to the charity.

With hundreds of activity providers having signed up this year, there will be a chance for children to get involved in all kinds of activities, find new passions and hobbies, take part in exciting challenges, and make friends.

Now in its 5th year and with the return of the popular #WatchMeFly theme, CAW shines a light on the incredible benefits of classes and activities in enhancing vital developmental skills and learning for children.

This year, the event will be supported by a celebrity ambassador, former X-Factor winner and ‘Mum of the Year’, Sam Bailey, whose personal experience of raising a child with autism makes her a strong ally to the cause.

To help raise funds, Sam will be hosting her popular Jam Tart Wednesday on 15th May, a livestreamed baking session encouraging parents to bake with their kids as well as donate in support of Caudwell Children.

Parents and carers looking to find activities in their local area will be able to search for what’s on near them through an interactive map: https://childrensactivitiesweek.co.uk/activity-search/ Don’t miss out!
